St. Catherine’s One Minute  Tour

Kaleidoscope (Day Care)

Our staff prepares a calendar each month, listing the day’s activities and also the snack. We try to vary activities and allow for both indoor and outdoor play. Children are not required to participate in the organized activity but are not allowed to choose another activity while the organized activity is going on. The general schedule for a typical afternoon is as follows:

                      3:00 – 3:15        Sign in

                      3:15—  3:45        Announcements and group game

                      3:45 – 4:00       Snack

                      4:00 – 4:30       Inside: (M-Th) Homework Club

                                                     Inside: (F) Art

                                                     Outside: Organized game

                       4:30-5:00         Inside: Game room open/free play

                                        Outside: Free play 

                         5:00-6:00       Inside: Free play/clean up

                                                    Outside: Closed

HOURS:

7:00 AM – 8:00 a.m.      Monday-Thursday    (Mornings)

7:00 AM – 9:00 a.m.      Friday    (Mornings)

The program is open on school days with the exception of May 28, 2010

 

 

REGISTRATION

Any registered students at St. Catherine’s are eligible for the Extended Care Program. Parents planning to use Kaleidoscope must pay the $30 registration fee. After September 1st, the fee will be $50.

All enrolled children in the program must have a registration and emergency form on file.

All students will be checked into Extended Care if they are on school grounds (or surrounding areas) before 8:00 a.m. (Monday-Thursday) and before 9:00 a.m. (Friday), after 3:15 p.m., or if they are not picked up at the close of any after school activity. Parent/legal guardian will be billed for this time.

LATE PICK-UP

Late fees start when a child has not been picked up by 6 p.m. If you anticipate being late, please call Kaleidoscope and inform us of any arrangements you have made. $1.00 per minute will be charged after 6 PM
